The Technical Advisory Committee was appointed in April 2003 by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of National Revenue to address issues related to tax measures benefiting persons with disabilities.

On February 23, 2005, the Government announced in Budget 2005 that it would act on the recommendations of the Committee contained in its December 2004 report. The sections of Budget 2005 discussing the Government’s response can be found at the following links:
